CHEATING DURING EXAMINATION

Many people aware that cheating during examination are wrong. However, a student may cheat during examination at least once in their life. Cheating means copying from other students during exams, one of the forms of misconduct that has become  one of the biggest concerns of educational instituitions (Wilkinson, 2009). Cheating during examinations have led to great disturbance in higher education due to dishonesty in students in order to gain knowledges. Eventhough many problems related to this issue have arisen, there are solutions that can be taken in order to reduce this problem.

One of the problem that cause students to cheat in the examination is the pressure which come from their surroundings.  A massive pressure from parents, school and friends may lead them to cheat. Students remain under tremendous pressure from their parents, peer and schools had to do well in examinations in case of failure or low grades (Amin Rehmani, 2013). Another problem is lack of confidence with their ability to score the subjects. Some students are not confidence with the subject that they are not interested in. Unfortunately, they still have to take the subject as the subject is offered in their courses. So they think they are cannot do well in the subjects or not smart enough to score the subject  or maybe lack some skills they need, therefore the only options left is to cheat (Jayme Gillen,2012).

Mostly students cheat in order to achieve good grades. Pressure from surrounding has led them to be a cheater as they think it is better to cheat rather than fail the subject which will give a huge impact on their grades. Parents should not push their children to get the best result in every test as it will increase their desire to cheat in order to meet the parents’ expectations. Other than that, teacher also plays a vital role in this problem as teacher has the most influence to their students. One ways of preventing cheating is clearly inform students of your expectations and of school policies (Sarita & Rajni Dahiya, 2015). Students also should find ways to improve in their subject even they like or not. Do many practices and reading to improve the ability to score the subject. A study found that studying through flashcards or taking practice exams is highly recommended technique for students to improve in learning (Improving Students’ Learning with Effective Learning Techniques,2013).

To conclude, cheating is not a good way for students to attain good grades. Cheating also can give negative impact in student’s life in future. Without cheating,students also can get good grades and it hundreds time better than cheating. Through hard work and own effort, the success will become more meaningful compared to achieve success  through cheating.

Causes and Effects(Outline) ; FAST FOOD POPULARITY

INTRODUCTION

A) Hook/Attention gather (2 marks)
Fast food restaurants are the most popular choices among all ages. The popularity of the fast food is eventually increased day by day. People all over the world tend to eat more fast food rather than healthy food. 

B) General statement (2 marks)
Fast food is widely known as an unhealthy food because it has no nutritional value and contain lots of fats, sugar, calories and sodium. However, many people do not care about this fact as the food itself taste good and appealing to the consumer's eyes. 

C) Thesis statement (2 marks)
There are more than 500,000 fast food restaurants in the world. The fast food places keep growing every day in order to satisfy consumer's needed. The reasons people frequently eat fast foods are the food is tasty, speed and efficient services and a way to socializing with friends and family.

Normally, fast food does taste good.

People nowadays tend to eat food that are tasty, unique and pleasing to their eyes.

As we all knew, in this modern day people especially teenagers really love to eat fast food rather than healthy food due to influence from advertisement in television or social media such as YouTube, Instagram and Twitter.

Therefore, this reason can lead people to make fast food as their favorite food even though at first they do not like fast food as they know it is unhealthy to eat and may give them bad effects in long term.

Malaysian hate waiting as we always punctual, so it is also the same for the food.

When we go to a restaurant we need to wait for half an hour or even more before our food done cooked. People do not like to spend their time on food longer especially when the are in hungry state. Therefore, the fast food is the most favorable choice for those who are in rush.

People who work or study love to go to the fast food places. The food can be warm in a short time and be served in few minutes. This will reduces the time cost of purchasing and preparing the food. So they will choose fast food to save time.

The first thing that comes into minds when your friends ask where to hang out is fast food restaurant. It is comfortable and safer for teenager to hang out there. Other than that, most of the fast food places located near with residential area so it is easy to go there daily. In addition, the colorful design of the restaurant also may attract among all age groups to come to the places as well.

Fast food is suitable places to go to celebrate with your family.

Fast food place is popular as place to celebrate an event. For example, birthday party or reunion with a big family. The fast food restaurant also can provide services for an event so it much easier for the family to celebrate it without doing a lot of preparations.

In conclusion, the causes that contributes people to eat more fast foods are fast foods taste so good and delicious, the food can be prepared in short amount of time and give people opportunity to spend more time on family or friends.

B) Suggestion and recommendation (2 marks)
Fast food is highly not recommended to eat daily because it can harm our body. The food maybe tastier but it can lead to many kind of diseases such as cardiovascular disease, obesity and cancer. People need to choose what they eat wisely and remember the pleasure of eating good food in good company.

Internet is very popular among all ages include teenagers and adults.  Students are one of the example of users that use Internet everyday.There are a lot benefits that students can gain if they are using Internet for their study. Students can experience this new way of learning through many networks and global classrooms. These networks give them the chance to learn through the on-line technology from all over the world. This prove that internet had benefits students in several ways.

Swimming Style & Tecniques

   Playing in the water can be incredibly fun for everyone. We can play for hours without feeling tired or bored. Most people only know the basic stroke but still they can have some fun with their family and friends. Do you know that swimming have many different style? There are four main strokes that you can learn. 

The first swimming stroke is front crawl. This technique is the basic technique for swimmer because it is pretty simple. Professional swimmers commonly use this style in competition. To apply this technique you must float on your belly in the water and propel yourself by rotating your arm in a windmill motion. Next, you need to kick your leg in a fluttering motion. However, this strokes requires proper breathing technique since the face remains in the water almost all the time.

Next, the backstroke. Backstroke is quite similar to front crawl except you must float on your back in the water. The arm moved in similar alternating windmill motion and the legs a kicked in a similarly fluttering motion. The backstroke technique have two basic technique. The first technique body should be rolled from one side to other. Therefore, the arms extend to their utmost reach to propel you catching the water. The second technique is the arms are moved equally force. So, you will not find yourself swimming towards one side only.

The third swimming strokes is breaststroke and this technique is difficult to learn. This technique requires a pattern where the body bobs upwards and downwards as you propel yourself forward in the water.The swimming strokes involves pulling your arm through the water as you bob up and breathe. Then you have to kicking your legs as you bob down and glide forward. The arm pulling and leg kicking are done alternatively.

The last swimming stroke is butterfly stroke. Similar to the breaststroke, the butterfly is also a difficult swimming technique, and not advocated for beginning learners, since it involves a fair amount of strength as well as precise timing. While performing this stroke, the legs should be moved together akin to the movements of a dolphin’s tail, the arms should also be moved together, pushing the water downwards and then backwards, while the torso moves forward in an undulating manner.

It is not possible for the beginning swimmers to learn all the techniques. Each of them will put yourself in a different position and will use different muscles. This can help you to swim in a lengthy distance and prevent your from exhausted by allowing you to rest in certain positions. Give yourself a try. Who knows you can be a professional swimmers one day. Let your dreams come true!

Lion?

Everyone knew life is not easy. Often, we face challenge and conflict. We have no other choice as life set us challenges to test our courage and strength. Facing up things and working through them will bring great satisfaction, values and inspiration in your life.

 Since my sister passed away 15 years ago, my mom became very protective towards me as I am the only child she has. She won't let me go out anywhere unless I'm going out with her or my dad. I also cannot ride a bicycle as it was the main reason my sister died. Yeah there are countless things I cannot do. My childhood freedom was snatched away from me. I lost the opportunity to explore the world. When I was in high school also, there were many things that I cannot do like other teenagers did. Sometimes, I wish I can have a little freedom to go out with my friends, having fun together.. laughing, gossiping and watching movies etc (you know.. as a teenager).  I have been kept in bubbles created by my parents for a long time. I felt so comfortable with my life without knowing the true meaning of "life". Many people said life is a jungle. Life is like sailing against the wind. Too dangerous to sail alone. And drowning is one of the biggest possibilities. But still.. I'm happy with my life until  I got an offered to enter a matriculation. 

The real world started..

Again.. Life is not easy. In matriculation my grades dropped. I'm too scared to faced a reality and of course I felt it is too early for me to enter this cruel world (even though I am 18).  My life become miserable and I want to give up. But one of my lecturer told me a story. About a lion. She said, lion is the king of an animal and I should live like a lion. Funny isn't it? Why a lion? I asked. 

"If you are going to live this life, live like a lion because living like a rabbit would change nothing". 

. A lion is called a 'king of beast' for a reason. Lions are symbols of courage and strength. Other than that, they are common symbol for royalty and stateliness. No animal has tried to kill a lion. Lion use intelligent hunting tactics to catch their prey as some of their prey are too big or faster than the lion itself. Therefore, there's no animal has been able to kill a lion unless the lion badly hurt while hunting the prey and they have opportunity to kill it. But there is only one or two cases. Besides that, lion is a special animal. It look strong, fierce and magnificent. There are many of animal that are bigger, stronger and faster than a lion, but for me lion is the greatest and most fearsome. A lion's roar can be heard five miles away. Cool right? Just imagine you're alone then you heard a lion's roar... haha you must be scared to death. Lion also a very social animal, they live in a group called pride. And they are working in a group. Together we stand, divided we fall. A lion like to sleep and relaxing around, it also able to sleep for 16 to 20 hours long. And I have read an article, it says that lion is a responsible animal. While the female lion goes to hunt, the male will defend their pride's territory. So why not we, human be responsible for our own life. The lion gets its done or dies trying.

So this is the reason I like lion until now. And of course my dream I want lion as my pet. But it is beyond my imagination. I can see them and adore them for far only. Someday, I hope I can be and live like a lion. Oh yeah, there is an easy way to become a lion....
